You are purchasing a Raffle Ticket for the 10 GUN RAFFLE with ALL proceeds going to the TEXAS NATIONAL GUARD BEST WARRIOR AWARDS. Honoring our American Military is not something we take lightly in Bastrop, Texas. We are selling ONLY 300 raffle tickets to support the TEXAS NATIONAL GUARD BEST WARRIOR COMPETITION. The Best Warrior Competition is a rigorous three-day competition that tests the tactical and technical expertise of Soldiers and Airmen through scored events, such as an oral knowledge exam board, a tactical road march, obstacle course and physical fitness test, as well as “a mystery event” announced the day of the competition. Both Army and Air National Guard members compete against each other for the title of “Best Warrior” and “Best noncommissioned officer” in the state of Texas. The Best Warrior Competition is supported by the Military Forces Conference Foundation a 501 (c)(3) corporation formed to support conferences, meetings, events and gatherings of the National Guard of the United States. They are also supported by generous donations from corporate sponsors and local businesses throughout Texas.
