Act It Out! Come and be astonishing on the stage performing monologues and/or songs from encouraging characters throughout theatre! We will do acting exercises, discover character strengths from different plays and musicals, choose characters who exude that strength and act it out. Each student will choose a monologue, song or both to bring to life a character that they feel is astonishing. We will have a showcase at the end of camp week for family and friends at 4pm in the Gallery. Kathryn Young teaches Logic Theatre at Regents School. She is an actress and teaching artist who holds a Master of Arts in Theatre Education from California State University, and her Bachelor of Arts in Theatre Performance from San Diego State University. She has over 25 years performing experience and over 10 years' experience teaching and facilitating the arts to all ages in various settings.
