About this event
Description
Have you seen signs posted in your neighbors’ yards showing they are Certified Wildlife Habitats? Would you like to learn how to create your own Wildlife Habitat in your yard or on your balcony? Join us for "Friends of the Frontier," a new 6-part program at the Homestead this Spring. Each meeting will focus on Texas wildlife and plants, offering hands-on projects aligned with the National Wildlife Federation’s Garden for Wildlife criteria. Our goal is to certify the Homestead Garden, and participants will gain the knowledge and materials to certify their own yards upon program completion. This program is geared for all ages. We encourage the whole family to join! Please only register once per family. Children 14 years or younger must be accompanied by an adult.Meeting Dates: March 7th, March 21st, April 4th, April 18th, May 2nd, and May 16th.
