About this event
PROGRAM INFORMATION This course is open to students at least 16 years of age (15 years old with Sweetwater approval). Students must be able to complete the following unaided in order to enroll in the class: 1. Swim at least 8 continuous lengths (200 yards) of a 25-yard pool, 2. Be able to retrieve a 10lb brick from the bottom and swim it across the pool 3. Tread water for 2 minutes without using your hands A fee of $150 is charged to cover the cost of materials, and instruction. As a Sweetwater Employee, you are entitled to a $150 discount by using the Coupon Code provided to you during your interview. If you do not use the Coupon Code before its expiration date, Staffing will provide you a new Coupon Code for $100 off. You will be responsible for the $50 fee. This is a re-certification class, so it is expected that you arrive knowing the materials in advance. Read chapters: 1-6, 9, 12-13 Review chapters: CPR, AED, Water Skills Please come prepared to answer questions and actively participate in class. Make sure to bring your pocket mask, Starguard book, swim suit, a towel, dry clothes and your lunch to class.
