Introducing a summer camp experience for adults. Getaway this summer and enjoy a special daytime retreat with activity that includes C with Tony Loadholt, mixed media art making instructed by Tisha Smith, and a sewing applique project with K. Joy Peters
July 22 – 26, 2024 – 5 Days Camp Hours: 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Ages: 21 - Senior
Activities:Tony Loadholt - Qi Gong & Tai ChiStart the day with 20 minutes of slow, flowing movements, and deep breathing. Designed to improve balance, flexibility, and overall well-being. Great for participants with limited mobility and looking to enhance physical and mental health.
Tisha Smith – Fabric Painting/mixed mediaSpend a week learning fun fabric stamping and simple screen printing on fabric to create a unique one-of-a-kind table runner.
K. Joy Peters - Applique PillowLearn to paint with fabric. Students will explore applique techniques using colorful patterned and textured fabrics, yarn, and a variety of machine stiches to make a Story appliqué pillow. small. Pillow form included. Supplies: Participants are required to bring their own sewing machine (optional), 2 yards of your favorite fabric, scrap fabric, pinking shears/scissors, and straight pins. 20" x 20" pillow and other supplies will be provided.

COST:There is a $50 activity fee for Fulton County residents and a $60 activity fee for non-Fulton County residents. All fees are due by the first day of the program.
