Spend a night out sculpting your own spectacular, decorative leaf dishes. Use them as plates, key holders, or decorative art for your home! Students will learn how to press leaves into the clay, cut them out, and use basic handbuilding techniques to create up to 3 dishes. Leaves will be provided by the instructor, however, students are welcome to bring their own leaves if they choose which must be 8"x8" or smaller. *This class involves handbuilding techniques and does not use the pottery wheel. Please note: the A2AC does not make exceptions to the age minimum for any reason. This workshop fee includes all supplies and instruction for 2 people. Please complete only 1 registration per 2 people. Clay can be messy, so you may want to dress accordingly. All dishes will be coated in a food-safe glaze. Please allow 4 weeks or more for work to be processed and fired in the kiln. Participants will receive an e-mail notification when projects are ready for pick-up. All supplies are included.
