This class provides the safety and fundamentals knowledge to apply for your concealed carry permit in VA, FL and many other states. Taught by a certified-NRA and USCCA instructor with hundreds of hours of classroom and range experience. The program covers a wide range of topics, including: Conflict Avoidance and Situational Awareness: Understanding how to avoid conflicts and being aware of one’s surroundings to prevent violent encounters. Home Security and Home Defense: Learning how to secure one’s home and defend it against intruders. Handgun, Shotgun, and AR-15 Basics: Understanding the fundamentals of handgun, shotgun, and AR-15 firearms, including safety, handling, and operation. Shooting Fundamentals: Developing proper shooting techniques, including stance, grip, and trigger control. Physiology of Violent Encounters: Understanding the physical and psychological effects of violent encounters and how to respond accordingly. Legal Aspects of Using Deadly Force: Knowing the legal implications of using deadly force, including what to do in the aftermath of a self-defense situation. Gear, Gadgets, and Ongoing Training: Learning about various gear and gadgets available for self-defense, as well as ongoing training and practice to maintain and improve skills. The USCCA Concealed Carry and Home Defense program is designed to provide individuals with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to make informed decisions about their personal safety and the safety of their loved ones.
