About this event

*Participants under 16 must be accompanied by an adult!* Maybe it’s just psychological, but food cooked over a campfire always tastes better. In this class, you will learn a wide variety of food preparation techniques from the most basic—tossing something into the coals—to more advanced techniques, like steam pits and cast-iron cooking. These skills are a great addition to any camping trip, survival scenario, or backyard barbeque. Much like you’d find when making food with others at home, cooking around a campfire always leads to lots of laughter and great conversation. In this class, you will learn: - Temperature control without a thermometer - Coal cooking - Spit roasting - Cast-iron cooking - Steam pits, and more! The cost of this class is reflective of the Certified Organic food we are providing to cook with. Though you are welcome to bring more, food will be provided.
