1. Dirty Feet
"To me, a lush carpet of pine needles or spongy grass is more welcome than the most luxurious Persian rug." - Helen Keller

2. An Empty Cooler

3. Stories to Tell
If you leave with a great story (or two or three!) then you can be sure it was a great trip, or at least a memorable one. The best trips are the ones with stories you tell over and over again.
4. Good Mood
You have stories to tell and you're smiling as you divulge every last detail of the trip, from finding the campsite to making dinner on your last night. That good mood bubbles over in the days to come and when that happens you can be sure you had a memorable trip.
5. Planning Your Next Trip
When you leave talking about where and when your next trip will be and how soon you can go again, it's a sure sign you had a good time.
