SO YOU WANT TO TRAVEL THE WORLD SERIESHave you ever dreamed about traveling the world, but don’t know where to start? This series is for you! Instructor Jamie Holmes will take you through all the information you need to consider when planning your adventure! Whether you are planning a few weeks or a year, she will walk you through how to plan every detail and leave a little room for spontaneity! Each week she will cover specific topics to help you outline your trip of a lifetime!

Week #1 Overview: In the first week, Jamie will cover the continents and the best time of year to travel by area. We will explore two travel models that will help you cover the areas you plan to visit to maximize your time and money. We will also go over the pros and cons of traveling in groups, solo, or independently with others.
Week #2 Transportation & Accommodations: This week Jamie will talk about airline tips, finding ground transportation options once you are there, where to go for visa and travel alert information, top accommodation resources, plus all the things to consider before booking your stay. .
Week #3 Making the Most of Where You Visit: This week, Jamie will help you get clear on what you want to get out of your travel experience once you arrive. She will walk you through the best websites to help you explore, cultural considerations, and ways to connect with other travelers.
Week #4 Preparing for Your Trip: In this class, we will talk about how to prepare for your trip. From checklists to packing to staying safe on the road, we will go through critical information for anyone planning to travel outside the country for more than a month.
Week #5 Make Your Travel Plan a Reality: The final week will allow you to summarize your travel plan and share it with the class. There will also be a Zoom. Q&A with others who have traveled the world, and we will hear what they have experienced.
