The USTA recently announced it has passed new rules governing competition for 10-and-under tennis tournaments. The new rules require that 10-and-under tournaments be played using the QuickStart format.
10-and-Under tennis has been endorsed by USTA Player Development as the best way to develop future American champions, and is used in Player Development’s Certified Regional Training Centers around the country.
With smaller courts, lower-bouncing balls and smaller rackets, 10-and-under tennis makes it easy for kids to rally and play the game early on. That makes tennis fun and increases the likelihood that continue with the sport.
