Photographer Werner Segarra has been a professional photographer for over thirty years. He has participated in various solo museum exhibitions, most recently Western Spirit: Scottsdale’s Museum of the West, Briscoe Western Art Museum, Museo Arocena and Museo de Historia Mexicana. Inspiration for his work comes from personal experience after living in various countries around the world during his childhood and adolescence. The most significant encounter and inspiration was a student field trip that took him to northern Mexico. Werner immersed himself in the northeastern Mexican cowboy world. The experience captivated and motivated him to transmit his love and respect for this culture and share it with the rest of the world.
