This course is designed for participants 16 years and older.

This is a single 30 minute class. Only one class meeting will be held for your registration in this activity.Multiple single 30 minute adult classes are available.
This class focuses on foundational water safety and swimming skills. Participants will work toward mastering the Water Competency Sequence, which must be completed in the following order, without pauses, assistance, or touching the wall:1. Jumps into deep water, at least over their head, and recovers to the surface.2. Floats on the back or tread water for 1 minute.3. Spins in a 360° circle and orients to the designated exit.4. Swims 25 yards front crawl with rhythmic breathing or elementary backstroke.5. Climbs out on the wall without using a ladder, gutter or person assisting.
