What better way to celebrate Memorial Day than to help veterans in need? All proceeds from this event, which features 5K, 10K and 30K options, are used to help feed local homeless veterans. Test your toughness in the 30K march, where you must carry a backpack that contains 25 pounds or less of nonperishable food to donate.
The Heroes Mud Run

Run over cross-country terrain in this one-of-a-kind race with 15 military obstacles and lots of mud. A portion of the proceeds will go toward the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation.
