City of Redlands Official Halloween Celebration

Halloween takes flight at the Redlands Municipal Airport!

Join the City of Redlands for Plane-or-Treat, a family-friendly Halloween celebration featuring trick-or-treating, airplane displays, live music, Halloween attractions, and more!

Time: 2:00–5:00 p.m.
Location: Redlands Municipal Airport

Admission: $5 per person — all ages

Event Attractions & Activities

Your admission includes access to a variety of planned family-friendly Halloween experiences, including:

• Trick-or-treating
• Airplane displays
• Spooky inflatable maze
• Carnival games
• Super slides and inflatables
• Petting zoo
• Face painting and balloon artists
• Video game trucks
• Live music and entertainment
• EV Spooktacular Showcase, presented by Breathe Southern California
• Community activities and more!

Airplane Display Safety: Guests are invited to enjoy viewing the aircraft on display. For everyone's safety and the protection of participating aircraft, please enjoy the displays without touching or entering the airplanes. Thank you for helping keep Plane-or-Treat safe and fun for everyone!

The event will also feature 20+ food vendors and merchant vendors, offering food, drinks, treats, and merchandise for additional purchase.

Registration & Wristband Pickup

Online pre-registration is strongly encouraged!

All attendees, including children, must have their own $5 admission registration.

To help make event entry faster and easier, the City is planning to offer early wristband pickup during the week before the event.

Registered participants will receive additional information regarding:

• Early wristband pickup dates, times, and location
• Event-day entry and check-in procedures
• Additional arrival information and event reminders

Pre-register. Pick up your wristband early. Get to the fun faster!

Please note that early pickup details are still being finalized.

Parking & Walking to the Event

Public event parking will be available at the Redlands Sports Park Complex.

After parking, attendees will follow the designated pedestrian route from the Sports Park Complex to the Redlands Municipal Airport event entrance.

The planned walking route is approximately 0.44 miles one way, or an estimated 10–15-minute walk, depending on your pace and parking location. Actual walking distance and time may vary.

Event signage and staff will help direct guests along the pedestrian route.

Please plan ahead and allow additional time for parking, walking, and event entry, especially when attending with young children or anyone who may need extra time.

Important Event Reminders

• Admission is $5 per person, regardless of age.
• Costumes are encouraged!
• Food, beverages, and merchandise are available for separate purchase and are not included with admission.
• Aircraft are for viewing only. Please do not touch or enter the aircraft.
• Follow posted signs, event staff instructions, and designated pedestrian pathways.
• Attractions, entertainment, and event procedures are subject to change.

Questions or Additional InformationAdmission for Newborns: Newborns and infants under 2 years old do not need to pay admission. The $5 admission fee applies to children 2 years old and older, as well as adults.
Costume Guidelines
Costumes are encouraged! To help keep Plane-or-Treat safe and enjoyable for everyone, please follow these guidelines:

• Keep costumes family-friendly – not offensive, violent, or obstructive.
• No costume masks for guests ages 14 and older. Headwear may not cover the face.
• No realistic-looking weapons, sharp objects, or accessories that could strike another guest.
• Nothing may reach or drag on the ground, including dresses and capes.
• Bulky, full-body props and heavily layered costumes are strongly discouraged and may require additional screening.
• Acceptable accessories include transparent wings, plastic lightsabers, toy swords, and tutus, provided they meet the safety guidelines above.
