Students will learn the necessary information to control external bleeding with the use of direct pressure, pressure dressings, how to properly pack a wound with commercial dressings, and the proper use of tourniquets. Students will be provided with all the necessary tools/equipment/gear to successfully complete the course. Students will also be provided with their own Individual First Aid Kit (IFAK) to take home. Please bring note taking materials and wear comfortable clothing that you don't mind getting dirty or ruined. This course is taught by a Registered Nurse licensed in the state of Ohio. (This course will also qualify for 4hrs of Continued Education credits in the State Of Ohio )
