The Legend of Sleepy Hollow adapted by Vera Morris. The performances of the show are November 14th at 6:00PM and November 15th at 12:00PM. Auditions will be held Wednesday, October 22nd from 4:00-6:00. Synopsis Adapted from Washington Irving, here is a spooky show alive with hilarious action and fun. The Legend of Sleepy Hollow tells the story of Ichabod Crane, a lightly goofy schoolmaster arriving in the farming community of Sleepy Hollow. He is looking to start a good life for himself, get married, and settle down. . He meets Katrina Van Tassel, the daughter of wealthy townspeople, and he is sure his dreams will come true. Unhappily for Ichabod, Katrina has a suitor, the boisterous Brom Bones. To complicate matters, Sleepy Hollow’s graveyard is haunted by a small army of restless spirits, including the most famous phantom of all, the Headless Horsemen. At a party, Ichadbod proposes marriage to Katrina, but is booted out by Brom and forced to make his way home through a terrible storm. In the dark, there’s something shadowy and towering. Is it the Headless Horseman? Ichabod has to outrun the galloping phantom! Does he? No one knows for sure because the school master was never seen again.
