Thank you for joining Potomac Valley Track Club!
PVTC members receive discounted registration fees for club events. Members also have access to a variety of club-sponsored training programs at no cost. Membership is available on an individual basis and also for a variety of household sizes. All memberships run through the calendar year. For people who join or renew on or after Sept. 1, their memberships are extended through the following year, e.g. the membership for someone who joined in Sept. 2023 would run through Dec. 31, 2024. We also extend memberships through the following year for people who join/renew when they register for the Potomac Valley Games. The membership year starts on September 1 (or August 31 if September 1 is a Sunday or August 30 if September 1 is a Monday, so it's always on the day Potomac Valley Games open, always on Labor Day weekend, or September 1, which ever comes first.
Memberships run through December 31, so if you join before December 31, your membership is good for the remainder of the year, PLUS the entire next year.
Our practices, track meets, and long distance races are all sanctioned by USATF, and we are active paticipants in the local Potomac Valley Association of USATF, and also at the national level of USATF, where a member of our board serves as Masters Committee Chair (until his term ends). We have won the national USATF Masters Championships three times in recent years, and never failed to finish among the top three teams.
