This course is designed to teach you how to safely and effectively operate an AR platform rifle in preparation for a defensive gun use encounter. Students will learn the components of the rifle, the cycle of operations, fundamentals of rifle marksmanship, loading and unloading, and firing positions. Additionally, students will proper care and cleaning of their rifles. This class is approximately three (3) hours long and will be conducted completely in the classroom. Students must bring their own rifles.
