Did you know, men cyclists outnumber women cyclists at a 2:1 ratio in the United States? Did you know the number of women cyclists decreased by 13 percent between 2000 and 2010?

While the U.S. sees few women pedaling the bike lanes, a majority of cyclists in foreign countries, such as the Netherlands, are women. Why is this lack of interest in cycling so prevalent for women in America?
