Description
Let your child learn, reinforce and practice Spanish by focusing on urban literacy and local culture regarding cool places that the city of Santa Monica has to offer. The kids get inspired by the architecture and the weather of the city, by taking adventurous field trips on the metro or blue bus, exploring libraries, fire stations, beaches, farmers markets and more. Let’s connect the language with real experiences for our campers.The children will work in groups matching their age and level of Spanish. Each weekly camp is going to contain several types of Theme -Based Projects with engaging activities ranging from arts and crafts to games, stories, songs, cooking, nature, music and puppets, etc. The kids will also attend field trips, and at the end of each camp the kids will deliver a performance to their parents. All children must bring their lunches,snacks and water.Material Fee: $30.00 must be paid to the instructor on the first day of class
