About This Activity
Description
Become a Junior Lifeguard in this class offered by the City of Yucaipa Aquatics Department. Youth ages 11-14 will learn lifesaving skills such as in-water rescues, use of a rescue tube, and first aid, CPR and AED. This program is designed to prepare youth for a future career as an American Red Cross Lifeguard. Participants must be able to know how to swim and pass a brief swim test at the start of the first class meeting.
No class on July 4, make-up on July 5.
Participants should bring a swim suit, towel, tennis shoes, workout clothes, and plenty of water.
NO REFUNDS/CREDITS WILL BE ISSUED FOR JUNIOR GUARD PROGRAMS.
