About This Activity
Strengthen core math skills and boost confidence this summer in our 2-student, 10-hour, hands-on, fun math workshop! Your child will learn age- and grade-appropriate skills for a stronger math foundation. In this Math Group, students will build essential skills for future math success. Key areas of focus include: - understanding number structures within the range of 1 to 20 - employing conceptual place value strategies - enhancing fluency in counting by 2's, 5's, and 10's These skills are fundamental for developing better, deeper understanding of applied addition and subtraction strategies, as well as initiating comprehension of multiplication and division concepts. Using hands-on manipulatives, working with a partner, and engaging in enjoyable activities to cement concepts, your child will feel more confident as they head into 3rd grade math in the fall.
