About This Activity
Turn your compassion into action at the Humane Society of Southern Arizona! HSSA Campers will get hands-on experience caring for and socializing with our Education Ambassador Animals, such as guinea pigs, rats, ball pythons, and more! Campers will learn more about their animal companions and gain skills to foster a greater human-animal bond. With interactive activities, crafts and games, who could turn down this opportunity to spend their school break at HSSA? *ALL CAMPS RUN MONDAY THROUGH THURSDAY* Who should come to the Humane Amigos Summer Break Camp? The Humane Society’s Humane Amigos Camp is for kids ages 6-12 interested in: • improving the lives of animals • Animal care and animal careers • Responsible pet ownership • Wildlife education • Preserving our planet and natural world The Details Humane Amigos Summer Camp takes place at the Humane Society’s new Education and Behavior Center located at 635 West Roger Road. The center has air-conditioned classroom areas, outdoor areas for animal-related activities and other excellent facilities. Included in the registration cost is an HSSA name badge, camp t-shirt, prizes, keepsakes, educational information, an end of the week party! • Public Registration: $300 • Hand In Paw Kids Club Members: $250 • Prior to registering for camp, please renew or sign up for the Hand In Paw Kids Club to start enjoying your member discounts. Scholarships are available for all HSSA children’s programs.
