About This Activity

This 8 week training program is designed to train to compete in the funnest women’s event in the country, the Sturdy Dirty Enduro! Each week we will work on various skills, build fitness, tackle fun and challenging trail features, and support each other in our individual zones of progression. Pro Sweetlines Coach, Heather, will work with participants to build up to climbing Upward Mobility to the top of Poppin’ Tops (with lots of breaks!) and focus on smoothly descending both sections of Flow State and Poppin Tops. By the end of the 8 weeks, participants feel more confident on these trails since these are the beginner stages of the Sturdy Dirty. If we want to progress further (based on the consensus and progress of the group) we can work on CCDH trail as well! The trails at Raging River are much more difficult (and fun!) than Duthie trails, they are longer, steeper, rockier, rootier, and more technical. This program requires participants to have a basic level of fitness due to the nature of enduro racing. The goal is to participate in the Youth Beginner Catagory of the Sturdy Dirty Enduro on July 6th, if riders feel ready. Check out the event website HERE Prerequisites: -Ability to pedal Upward Mobility to the top of Lower Flow State (~300 feet of elevation gain over .75 miles, taking breaks is fine!) -Have ridden down Lower Flow state at least once (if you walked sections that's fine too!) -Participated in a Sweetlines program in the past at a minimum level of 4 so we can build on skills and progress. -Proper, well-maintained trail or Enduro bike (full-suspension highly recommended) with disc brakes, good tread “knobby” tires, working range of gears This program will require flexibility with pick up times as late as 2pm (and possibly locations).
