About This Activity

Our camp is the perfect blend of creative writing and art exploration, tailored for kids who love to dream, create, and share stories.  In this camp, budding authors will embark on an exciting journey learning to create, write, and illustrate their own picture book from scratch. Guided by experienced instructors and through interactive workshops and writing exercises, campers will explore essential topics such as genres, character creation, story development, and the art of illustration. From brainstorming captivating beginnings to crafting satisfying endings, every week will bring new adventures and discoveries. While this camp has a special focus on the Arabic language, English writing is also welcomed! Our camp provides a unique opportunity for kids to express themselves creatively while learning new skills. Whether they are just starting out or have a knack for storytelling, there is something for everyone in our engaging workshops. And the best part?  By the end of the camp, each participant will have a completed professionally printed book with their name as the author to take home and share with family and friends. Led by Raneem Altabbaa of Young Authors Academy.
