Meet Your Instructors Jacey & Jenelle Loewen:
Twin sisters Jacey and Jenelle Loewen (Bearcat alumni) play volleyball on athletic scholarships at Providence Christian College in Pasadena, CA. This past summer the sisters traveled overseas to play volleyball in Italy, Portugal and Croatia where they competed at an elite level against players from all over the world. This fall, Jacey received a nomination for Player of the Year and Attacker of the Year for the California Pacific (CAL PAC) Conference.
During their time playing at Paso Robles High School, Jacey was Co-Captain of her varsity team and named Female Scholar-Athlete of the Year and Jenelle was named “Pride of the Bearcat.” While they are both committed to their athletics future, the dynamic duo has made an impact on their community not only here in Paso Robles but also in the Los Angeles area where they coach club volleyball for 13-14-year-old girls. During Covid, they led outdoor volleyball clinics for children in this same age group giving teens an opportunity to learn volleyball fundamentals and have an exercise outlet.
