About This Activity
Description
Spend two days mountain biking and two days rock climbing in this exciting new camp designed for intermediate riders looking to improve their skills and explore the great outdoors. On rock climbing days, we’ll visit the Cirque Climbing gym and Cushman Cliffs. Our experienced instructors will teach you safe trail riding techniques, trail etiquette, and basic maintenance to help you get the most out of your rides. We’ll take you on exciting adventures through the beautiful Capitol Forest trails and beyond. Be sure to bring your own bike, helmet, protective eyewear, extra tube, patch kit, water bottle, lunch, and snacks. Bikes must be properly maintained and prepared for riding each day. Staff-to-camper ratio is 1:5. Field trips typically take place between 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM, so please make sure you arrive by 9:00 AM.
Summer Camp Withdrawals/Transfers: Refunds for camp registrations are subject to a $25 cancellation fee per session/week. A full refund, excluding the cancellation fee, will be issued if cancellation notification is received at least 14 days before the camp session's first date. If withdrawal occurs within 2 to 14 days of the camp session's start, the cancellation fee will be 25% of the total camp fee. Withdrawals after 5:00 pm on the Friday before a camp week will incur a cancellation fee of 50% of the total camp fee. No refunds will be given after the camp begins unless the satisfaction policy applies. Transfers are allowed at no cost, provided there is an available spot; however, campers transferring from a camp to a waiting list will be charged the appropriate fee.
