About This Activity
This five day “camp” gives your child the opportunity to experience a number of different performing arts experiences. It's a mix and match - pick the days your child is interested in, or come all five days! This year’s theme is “Beach Fun”. Monday: "Rhythmic Waves & Beach Ball Claymation": Dive into the rhythm of the Beach Boys with our bucket drumming session and unleash your creativity in stop motion claymation inspired by the playful bounce of beach balls. Tuesday: "Crafty Ocean Critters & Beach Beats": Join us as we sew magnetic felt fish, bringing the underwater world to life, and then feel the burn with Cardio Drumming to the tunes of Footloose. Wednesday "Fashionable Beach Friends & Sea Shanty Beats": Embark on a creative journey with paper doll costuming, transforming your dolls into beachside characters. Feel the ocean's pulse with cup percussion, set to the rhythm of the popular sea shanty, Wellerman. Thursday: "Island Glam & Hula Jam": Discover the magic of the stage with stage makeup tutorials, create vibrant leis, and sway to the tropical rhythm with our Hula dance lessons, transforming into a beachside paradise performer. Friday: "Dance Waves & Poseidon's Mystery": Groove to the beat with Mashed Potato & the Twist Dances, turning the beach into your dance floor, then channel your inner detective in the interactive mystery, 'Who Stole Poseidon's Trident,' bringing a thrilling finale to our week of beach fun.
