Learn to shred some trail like a pro! Students ride trails every day, developing skills throughout the week. Learn to navigate trees, rocks, roots, and hills. We begin by assessing skill level in a local park and progress to riding local MTB trail favorites. Bike maintenance and proper gear are covered. Basic bike skills required. Students should have proper gear including helmet and well-maintained bike with 1.7 inch width tires and at least 12 speed gears. This camp isn't appropriate for e-bikes. If you need ideas for renting, borrowing or purchasing a bike contact Dan Coyle at 541-760-0774. All profit goes to Team Dirt, a local nonprofit that builds trails. Bring a bike, helmet, snacks, lunch and water. Ages 10-14.Locations Mon/Tue at Avery Park. Wed/Thur in the Mac Forest. You'll receive an email before camp begins with more details. Parents/guardians to provide transportation to the various sites except Friday. Coyle Outside will transport to Alsea Falls. Pick up and drop off in Avery Park
