About This Activity
Is your child looking to level up their acting skills? Have they taken drama class before and they want to get more serious about acting? Or have they been in a school play and caught the acting bug? Acting skills class will allow them to dig deeper into the fundamental skills needed to create compelling characters and perform either on stage or on TV/Film. We will explore character development, script analysis, physicality and vocal performance while applying all techniques to scripts from published plays, television shows and movies. Students will have the chance to be involved in the selection of the materials which they will work on throughout the term, and will be paired with scene partners with similar interests. If your child is interested in improving their skills and landing roles in theatre, film or tv, this class is the perfect place to be as we move into audition season!
