About This Activity
Sleeping Giants Theatre summer camps are designed for aspiring actors or performance enthusiasts who want to learn all about acting, build confidence, and have fun in a supportive and creative environment. Drama camps are an incredible place to make lasting connections with like minded friends, all while exercising one's imagination muscles! During these camps, students will participate in a variety of activities that are designed to develop their acting abilities, including drama games, movement and voice technique, character development, improvisation, and more. Our experienced instructors are passionate about helping each student to grow as a performer and gain valuable skills that can be applied both on and off stage. Each camp will be facilitated by 2 theatre professionals, ensuring the best quality experience for every camper! There will be daily outside play time, to get some sun in our eyes and find inspiration in nature. Campers will also take part in the making/assembling of props and costumes for their final play during camp time. At the end of the final day, family and friends are invited to attend a showcase performance, where students will have the opportunity to show off what they've learned and perform in front of a supportive audience.
