Dive into something new! Learn the positions and fundamentals of springboard diving in a fun and safe environment. This diving class will focus on basic board-work technique, entry work, and skill development on a one-meter diving board.
For Diving classes at NAC and FOL a DiveAAU fee must be paid before the first day of class to participate. Complete your membership application online at https://play.aausports.org/login/tabid/36231/Default.aspx?returnurl=%2f and select “Get a Membership”, then “Youth Membership” select "club: “South Mountain Dive". Please submit a copy of your completed membership directly to SouthMountainDive@gmail.com.
Participants must also register with AAU Diving for $20 PRIOR to class start. South Mountain Dive Club is committed to growing the character of our young athletes both in and out of the pool. We believe that the best athletes have a heart for the sport and work hard while developing the lifelong skills of sportsmanship, time management, goal setting and work ethic. Morgan June is a growing leader in the diving community as well as having an additional background in gymnastics. She has built her life around health and wellness and bring a positive energy to the pool to make every practice fun. Kacee Hoffer has 15 years in the diving community competing in the east valley in club as a young athlete working to compete for Boise State University and receiving multiple Mountain West Honors and All-American Honorable Mentions. David Hoffer has 12 years in the diving community with an additional background in swimming and gymnastics. He competed for Arizona State University receiving multiple PAC-12 Honors and All-American Honorable Mentions. Hoffer is currently training to compete at the Team USA Olympic Trials in June 2021.
