Discover the secret relationships that thrive beneath the waves! Our campers will explore the unique bonds between ocean creatures. From symbiotic partnerships to predator-prey dynamics, your child will become a young marine biologist for a week. Engage in exciting activities, crafts, and underwater adventures that will unveil the mysteries of the sea's most dynamic duos. This camp has water days Tuesday-Friday that include dip netting, snorkeling, and water activities. We highly recommend that Tidal Tykes have some experience in a structured classroom setting before attending Mote Camp. SWIMMING SKILLS REQUIRED Campers will participate in water activities Tuesday through Thursday. These activities include snorkeling and field sampling. Campers will receive instruction and guidance for all water-based activities. Swimming skills are required, however campers do not need to be advanced swimmers. They must be comfortable getting in the water and be able to doggy paddle. A certified lifeguard will be in the water with camp groups at all times. This camp also includes tours of Mote Aquarium and Marine Mammal Center.
