About This Activity
Welcome to Tree Frog Treks Summer Camp! Our award-winning program is one of the best ways to enjoy summer sun and have fun outside in San Francisco. Your campers will spend every day hiking with our expert team of naturalists, exploring science and nature, art and music, and making new friends. Our programming includes wild science experiments and live animal encounters with our collection of rescued reptiles, amphibians and more. Mountain Lake Park Block E Week 2 Theme: Carbon Kids Calling all Carbon Kids! We’ll use our powers to unite the world in imagining a fossil-fuel-free-future! Imagination and Innovation during a San Francisco Play-cation! Looking high and low for where energy comes from and where it goes, from ATP made in our cells to fuels that propel rockets themselves. This is a session to completely compost old ideas about carbon, plant a tree, collect energy from the sun and work together to Save, Preserve, and Maintain our home!
