About This Activity
Description
This is the premier camp for animal lovers and future veterinarians. Campers will "adopt" a stuffed animal to perform mock exams, surgeries, and other procedures, and the stuffed animal is theirs to keep. Camp topics include The veterinarian’s office, the veterinary pharmacy and lab, basic animal anatomy and physiology, pet care and nutrition, first aid and emergencies, diagnosing common illnesses and injuries, treatment plans, solving "medical mysteries" and getting into vet school. *No living animals will be involved. A $15 supply fee is due to the instructor on the first day of camp.
