Description
At Overnight Camp, campers live at Camp for one week sessions, staying in same age, same gender cabins as they explore all that Camp Nissokone has to offer. While at Camp, campers are guided through their experience by one of our experienced, caring staff members.
Our caring staff help campers learn about the world, learn new skills, and engage in fun and creative activities. Most staff are college students focused on youth development or education. Staff are hired based on interviews, experience, training, and extensive background checks. All staff are CPR and First Aid certified and receive over 100 hours of training focusing on youth development, leadership skills, and activity planning.
Living and playing as a team is a way of life at camp. Campers grades 4-9 celebrate shared achievements and encourage each other as they learn new skills. By trying a wide range of activities, kids learn about their interests, build confidence, and find new skills under the careful guidance of trained Y staff.
Refund Policy: All deposits are non-refundable. Deposits can be transferred to a different session or sibling at any time. Refunds (excluding the deposit) can be made until May 1. After May 1, session fees can be transferred to another session or sibling during the current camp season or refunded 50% of total fee (excluding the deposit). Two weeks prior to the camp session, fees are refundable only in the case of illness or injury with a written note from a physician to YMCA Camping Services.In the case of homesickness, dismissal, voluntary withdrawal, late arrivals, or early departures, there will be no refund of fees.
Camp registration is not complete until you have completed your online camper forms. CampDoc will send you an email to complete your profile - it is due one week prior to the start of the camp week.
