Description
Join us for a beautiful day fishing the Wolf. This program allows for each child to receive a tackle box and fishing pole and the education of an enjoyable lifelong sport!A representative from the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources will be on hand to introduce the Fishing Rules and Regulations and fish species of the Wolf River and other local waters as well as answer any questions you may have.
Volunteers will be there to help show children how to tie a proper knot, bait your hook, cast and catch and release your fish. Children ages 5 -9 must come with an adult and life jacket.
This event will not be cancelled due to the weather so please dress appropriately if there is inclement weather. We will take registration onsite the day of but equipment will be on a first come first serve basis and prices will go up to $20 for residents and $25 for non-residents.
