About This Activity
Building active and engaged kids through biking! The Velo Kids Adventure Club riders meet weekly throughout the summer to improve their skills and fitness with fun and challenging rides while exploring our local trails. Adventure Club moto: Have fun, make friends, build confidence and find adventure! Velo Kids Adventure Club is designed for young riders who are passionate about the sport and want to ride more. Participants will improve their skills and fitness with trail rides. Ride locations include: Riley Trails, Pigeon Creek, Shore Acres, Evergreen Trail (Hudsonville) and more for ages 8-14. Club requirements: A positive attitude. Able to comfortably ride 3-8 miles. Have a functioning mountain bike with gears and helmet. Registration fee includes: Adventure Club jersey, 50% discount code to Pedal the Pigeon (kids only mtn bike race) and more. Scholarships and bike equipment (bikes and helmets) available.
