About This Activity
Description
Ninpodo Gendai Ninjutsu - Self Defense Martial Arts ProgramNinjutsu is based on the martial skills practiced by he legendary warriors from Japan called Shinobi. The instruction provided includes hand to hand combat, oriental weaponry, tactical and physical training. The hand to hand techniques include, but are limited to: strikes, kicks, throws, joint locks, chokes, pressure points and others. The weapons training cover over 15 different weapons, including: sword (katana), staffs (Bo, Jo, Hanbo), nunchakus and knife (tanto). Professor Quinones (Hanshi) is a martial artisit with 28 years of experience; certified in the US by the World Nindo Ryu Federation and in Japan by the Genbukan World Ninpo Bugei Federation. There is a ranking test at the end of every three sessions. Martial arts gear and examination fee not included. Days & Times: Mondays, 7:00pm - 8:30pm (Wednesdays are a possible make up day), Saturdays 9:00am - 10:30am *possLocation: Hilltop Needmore Town Park & Preserve Clubhouse Instructor: Juan Quinones Fee: $40 (NR:$50)
