About This Activity
Trail Blazers is filled with engaging activities that will give your child an unforgettable summer. Campers will participate in a variety of age-appropriate games, arts and crafts, and non-competitive outdoor activities. In a safe setting, Kindergarten-aged campers will be grouped together with an Instructor, Counselors and caring Counselors-in-Training (CIT). This program is specifically designed for our littlest camper’s developmental level. A positive camp experience will pave the way for your child’s future success as your child enters school in the fall. This is a great camp for little ones who love arts and crafts, enjoy sitting down and completing a short activity, and can follow directions away from their family in an age-expected fashion. These campers will be expected to use the bathroom on their own, eat lunch/snack with adult supervision (cost included in the price of registration, food restrictions can be accommodated), keep their hands to themselves, and (mostly) change into their swimsuits on their own (camp staff can minimally help if needed). Half-day campers will need to sign up for private swim lessons after camp, or as an “add on” during the 9-12:30pm block of time during registration if they want to participate in lessons. No off campus Friday field trips for this camp. Campers can add breakfast, private swim lessons after camp hours (one-on-one lessons), extended care and bus transportation for an additional fee. SESSION 3 - Summer Olympics Get ready to work as a team and compete in friendly competition! These two weeks will be filled with games and exciting activities that will be a mix of Trailblazer fun as well as being involved in the Little Owls competition. We will be given our own team name, chant and color and will be competing in activities such as cardboard boat racing, flag decorating, a scavenger hunt and so much more!
