Description

This activity is closed to further registration.

My Tot & Me gives mom or dad and their tot the opportunity to enjoy a fun, recreational activity together. Tots will learn how to sit and stand-up on the ice; march in place; march forward and perform a two-foot glide with mom or dad's help on the ice to provide a little extra support. Mom or dad should have basic skating skills. This activity is designed for one tot and one parent.

Welcome to Sertich Ice Center's Learn to Skate program!

In case of inclement weather, please call (719) 385-5983 and check the city website at https://www.coloradosprings.gov/sertich-ice-center for any lesson delays, cancellations or facility closures.

COVID-19 PRECAUTIONS

Staying physically active is one of the best ways to keep your mind and body healthy. Your safety and the safety of our employees is our priority. Sertich Ice Center is taking precautions to minimize the spread of COVID-19:

Shared rental skates will be disinfected after each use. No sharing of water bottles or other high touch equipment.

COVID-19 precautions may change based on current state mandates. If lessons are cancelled due to COVID-19, students will receive prorated refunds based on the number of cancelled lessons.

Please plan to arrive at Sertich at least 10 minutes before your first lesson. This will allow for time to select and lace your skates. Skate boots should provide a snug fit. Your foot should not move around inside of the boot. Feet will feel best in light-weight socks. Clothing such as sweats or warm-ups are ideal. Remember to bring gloves. Skaters that require helmets must bring their own.

Use your free practice ice and free public skate or freestyle passes during the fall session. Passes are automated. Check in with the cashier at the front desk before the session begins and a visit will be deducted from your account. Passes must be used by the student registered for lessons and may not be transferred or used by another family member.

Need a make-up lesson? Make-up lessons must be pre-scheduled. Please call Sertich at (719) 385-6009 to check on availability and to pre-schedule.
