About This Activity
Everything in nature is connected. From mushrooms to coyotes, join us to explore what makes up an ecosystem! We will get our hands dirty learning about soils and our feet wet learning about water. We will investigate trees from their roots to their leaves and track animals by their scat. Discover what makes a plant grow, what makes water flow, and how all things, living and nonliving, are woven into the web of life. This program allows for drop-off between 8 - 9 AM. Pick-up is between 2:45 and 3 PM. Add aftercare to pick up between 3 - 5:30 pm for an additional $80. CITs (Counselors in Training) are required to attend Outdoor Leadership Camp. CIT Level II, please email camp@piedmontwildlifecenter.org with the camp(s) you are interested in them attending. Our staff will be happy to confirm their level and fill out their registration without the need to pay tuition. CIT's are expected to be at camp from 8:30 am - 3:30 pm. Drop off as early as 8 am.
