About This Activity
It is so important for young people to understand how much God loves them. At Destiny Youth Ranch, campers will learn about God's amazing grace & his beautiful creation (the horse) in a fun & friendly atmosphere. Our horses are here for their use & enjoyment. We will teach basic horsemanship skills, ground work, safety, & grooming to set a foundation for their future whether they have horses back at home or if they just wish to visit the ranch again later to help out or ride! Those interested should have a teachable heart & would enjoy spending time with horses. What they'll learn is very basic and meant to encourage safety and fun with these beautiful creatures. Our days will include worship, teachings, crafts, games, campfires, & of course LOTS of time with the horse you are paired with for the weekend! We have anywhere from 30 - 40 kids attending camps so you will be separated into small-groups. Be sure to specify if there is someone in particular you would like to be paired with. You do everything with your group: ride, eat, sleep, etc. :)
