Congratulations on your successful participation in "The People's Marathon." The Marine Corps War Memorial finish line welcomed 20,895 runners, the fourth largest total in MCM history. An additional 6,873 runners completed the MCM10K. The Marines, volunteers, staff and entertainers were honored to support all runners on another outstanding MCM Day that included great visuals with the Osprey flyover and the tandem jump into the start; interesting personalities like Drew Carey, who completed his first marathon in 4:37:10. and non-stop energy from start to finish. The day was filled with amazing accomplishments including the fastest finish the MCM has hosted in 14 years, individuals we truly rooted for like the 90 year old runner and memorable scenes of personal joy and triumph. Unofficial results are posted online. A special thank you to the volunteers who supported MCM runners. |
