Now, there’s no limit to the number of people who can track a runner’s progress at the MCM. The spectator universe has expanded infinitely as runner split times at the 10, 20, 30 and 40K marks as well as the finish time can be pushed out by email or text message or posted on a runner’s Facebook or Twitter account. Also, a live leaderboard tracking the front runners will be updated all event morning on the MCM official Facebook page. Registration for MCM social media messaging services presented by Nissan will be available starting October 20 on the MCM website. |

The MCM Health and Fitness Expo presented by GE held on Thursday, October 27 through Saturday, October 29 hosts Packet Pick-up at the DC Armory for MCM and MCM10K participants. Runners will receive the official bib with b-tag timing technology. The b-tag must remain attached to the reverse side of the bib. MCM Event Programs, MCM Weekend Guides, commemorative patches and UPS baggage stickers will also be distributed. Packet Pick-up will be conducted in a tent outside the Armory. Once checked in, runners will head inside the venue to visit more than 200 booths and grab the famous MCM mock neck participant shirt—this year’s color is red. |

The MCM will "super-size" 36 extra special goodie bags, in honor of the 36th anniversary of the event. The SuperSize bags contain high value products from MCM sponsors
and licensees and will be randomly distributed throughout MCM Weekend by notifying runners over Facebook and Twitter where and when the next bag will be awarded. Follow the
MCM on Facebook and Twitter. You may also improve your chances of getting one
of the special bags by being among the first runners in line at the Health and Fitness Expo ribbon cutting ceremony on Thursday, October 27 at the DC Armory. |

MCM runners do not have to wait until race weekend to sift through the coveted goodie bag for fantastic offers, prizes and retail specials. Runners will receive via
email direct access to the MCM iGiftBag. This digital innovation to traditional race-day goodie bags affords runners the gift of bonus time by allowing them to take advantage
of the specials in advance of event weekend. Runners can expect to receive an email with a link to the virtual goodie bag in mid-October. |
