Remember the confirmation number you received upon completion of registration? You will need that number, and your birth date, to download your E-Confirmation Card.  The E-Confirmation Card is necessary for retrieving race materials at Packet Pick-up, part of the MCHH Healthy Lifestyle Expo.

Check out the race weekend schedule of events and race morning timeline. The MCHH starts promptly at 7:00 a.m. and the Semper Fred Fun Run begins at 7:15 a.m.

Carb-load for the Marine Corps Historic Half at Ye Olde Pasta Party in the Fredericksburg Expo & Conference Center Ballroom beginning at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 17. Featuring guest speaker Katherine Switzer and the Fife & Drums.

The MCHH Healthy Lifestyle Expo, presented by Aetna, will be held over two fitness-filled days: Saturday, May 17, 2008, from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Sunday, May 18, from 6:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Located at the Fredericksburg Expo & Conference Center, this FREE event is open to the public and will feature more than 60 booths and interactive centers for enjoyment. Packet Pick-up will only be available on Saturday, May 17.

Post-race hospitality will be located inside the Fredericksburg Expo & Conference Center along with Baggage Retrieval and free post-race massages provided by Massage Envy. Get the whole family involved with race day by signing up for the Semper Fred Fun Run, presented by the Free Lance Star, a two-mile out and back course that starts and ends at the Fredericksburg Expo & Conference Center.  Registration is now open. Click here to learn more.

Learn more about what to see and do in the Fredericksburg area including local restaurants, attractions, the University of Mary Washington's Concert on Campus, and the Fredericksburg Rock the Block Party.

The Historic Half Apparel Store features products from New Balance.  The line includes technical performance apparel, hats and souvenirs.  The store will be located within the Healthy Lifestyle Expo and online.

The 2008 MCHH course features a variety of historical Fredericksburg landmarks along the scenic 13.1 mile course.  Download and print the course map or check out a full listing of street closures.

Musical entertainment along the MCHH course includes everything from the Fife & Drum Corps to the Eagle Pipe Band, to a harpist, to local favorites the Calypso Nuts at the finish!

A limited number of volunteers, including medical support, are still needed for the MCHH. Click here for details and thanks to those already committed to assisting with the event.

The MCM has added a new line up of races, the MCM Event Series, held aboard Marine Corps Base Quantico.  The MCM Event Series continues on June 21 with the Run Amuck. Registration is now open for the Run Amuck, featuring obstacles along a 5K course and offers participants plenty of opportunity to get dirty! Younger runners can get muddy too, at the Kids Run Amuck, designed just for children ages 5-12. Volunteers are also needed for this event.
