FIT4MOM is kicking off our first ever virtual marathon!
Many of our clients tell us they could never run a marathon but we believe you can! We want to celebrate women and moms this May by helping you achieve something you might have never thought possible! We are going to help you walk, run or bike a full marathon! Join us and thousands of moms across the country beginning May 1 as we run or walk each day for a goal of completing a full marathon by the end of the month! You could walk or run a mile per day and log more than a marathon! We have partnered with one of our favorite distance tracking apps, Charity Miles, which gives you the opportunity to not only track your distance, but to run, walk or bike for your favorite charity! Every day in May whether in a FIT4MOM class or on your own, inside or outside, turn on the Charity Miles app and keep track of your miles using the @FIT_4_MOM Team. It's easy to join.
This is a free event and by registering for this free event you will be eligible for tons of amazing prizes from our sponsors! All you have to do is get out and run/walk or even cycle, track it on Charity Miles and post pictures of yourself or with your team to Facebook using #F4MMarathon.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
What is a marathon?
26.2 miles in total! And we believe you can accomplish this in a month! You can walk, run or bike a mile each day in May and log more than a marathon! (May has 31 days!!)
What do you mean by "Virtual?”
By virtual, we mean online. Together, we will *virtually* complete our workouts using the Charity Miles app to track and by supporting one another online through Facebook and Twitter posts. FIT4MOM will also be sending weekly emails to participants highlighting distance achievement milestones, as well as sharing valuable information on how to continue training properly and best practices for stretching, and recovering.
When do we start?
We are all going to start May 1 and continue through the May 31 until each of us has completed a full marathon (or more!).
How do I get started?
Download the charity miles app HERE and be sure to join the @Fit_4_Mom team in your profile settings.
Register for our event here on Active.com. You may create or join a team or participate as an individual! It's your choice!
Like the FIT4MOM Facebook page where we will be doing giveaways all month long for various milestone achievements and for posting pics using the hashtag #F4MMarathon.
The event is FREE, but if you register with us, you will receive a link to a virtual goody bag with lots of free and/or BOGO offers, plus if you are one of the FIRST 200 to register, you will be eligible for one of six amazing prize drawings. We are giving away two BOB Strollers, gift baskets from Happy Family valued at $65 each and New Chapter vitamin bundles!
What is Charity Miles?
Charity Miles is a social good app that enables people to get moving for a purpose. Charity Milers walk, run, bike or otherwise get moving for the cause of their choice, and get sponsored by a partner brand. Members can choose from over 35 top charities, and get moving in support of the cause that is closest to their heart. Charity Miles partners with top brands like Johnson & Johnson, New Balance, Humana and Chobani. The Charity Miles tribe has raised over $1.2 million for charity, and counting.
What is FIT4MOM?
FIT4MOM gives women the "Strength for Motherhood" by providing classes and support for moms in every stage of motherhood. Through Fit4Baby's prenatal fitness classes, Stroller Strides, Body Back, and Our Village, women have the opportunity to have a workout and support that is flexible around motherhood.
