About this event
In this introductory course, students learn basic programming concepts like event handling, loops, variables etc. through building games, animations and stories using Scratch Jr and BBC Microbit (A pocket sized computer). Classes will be held via zoom. A tablet (iPad or Android) with wifi connection is required to attend these classes. Purchasing a microbit is optional but recommended(Available on Amazon for about $20) This class includes 12 weeks of classes, meeting every week between 1/11 and 3/29. If a student is unable to attend a class, we will work with them to get them caught up.
