About This Activity

Becoming an Outdoor Family teaches skills for a lifetime of outdoor recreation. We'll introduce you to several outdoor activities, providing all the instruction and equipment you need to try it out for yourself. It's ideal for kids age 8 and up, but the whole family will enjoy spending time outside together, no matter the age.

The Lewis and Clark program includes instruction in your choice of four hands-on classes, participation in six general sessions and two nights of camping. Families arrive Tuesday, June 11, and depart Thursday, June 13. Options are available for a campsite or a camping cabin. For an additional fee, registrants can stay through the weekend, departing Sunday, June 16.
